I worked as an EMT in my early twenties for a county EMS.  We knew when we had one code we were going to have two more that night.  I am guessing that is what you mean by it comes in threes.

You can put "numbers" to anything if your mind will allow it. Like this bad thing happened to me, and that bad thing...well good and bad things happen our entire lives, as well as births and deaths, good news and bad news, promotions and demotions, it's called life.

I'm actually pretty surprised at how many people are so superstitious! lol
