Oh gosh. If you're going to start rumors and gossip at least make it believable!
My sister's dad lives down the street from me and my mom lives on the next street up. I called the cops on my neighbors because they were fighting and I was worried about it, it sounded violent.
My sister's dad told my mom that the reason the cops were up here is because the neighbor (the man) was fighting with me. So I was like what the hell? Wouldn't I tell my mom something like that? Anyways he told my mom to tell me to stay away from him because he is crazy and he just goes off about stupid shit. As far as I know he is a pretty cool guy (the neighbor) I haven't ever heard him yell except for this one incident when he was fighting with his wife. There is no reason for my sister's dad to be talking shit about him or me. Why do people try to cause drama? He obviously has a very empty boring life if he has to make up rumors (about ME, of all people!) for his own entertainment
Oh by the way, when he told my mom that she just laughed in his face because she knows what happened. When she saw the cops she drove up to check on me so she REALLY knew what was going on.
He needs....... help.
Ahhhh it feels good to vent to strangers
Ok, correct me if I'm wrong and I misunderstood, but.....you said that the neighbor is a 'cool guy', and you don't want your sister's dad talking shit about you or HIM. Yet....you called the cops on this neighbor. I guess I'm confused.
I'm in a duplex and I could hear through the wall. They were fighting for most of the day, "normal" couples arguments... just having a bad day. It started to get pretty heated and I was concerned so I called so they could come check, I just wanted to be safe and make sure it didn't get out of hand.

Ok, well then if I thought he was being violent, I would not continue to call him a 'cool guy' or care if someone else talked shit about him. If I call the cops on someone, I have a definite opinion of them....usually bad. So I'm still confused.

That sounds funny.Sorry!Sounds like someone wanted attention to me.Kind of sad to if you think about it.Having to go threw all of that just to get attention from someone.*shakes head*I have that issue here.Only the bi*** got me fired from my job because she wanted it.Yup!!You heard me right.I didn't do a thing wrong.People are a$$es sometimes.Just remember that now their word means nothing.Being caught in a bald face lie will do that fast.LOL!!
I get nervous. One time DF went out to get milk in the snow, he wasn't back 20mins later so I called the cops to see if there were any accidents between point A and point B. I just get worried and at the time it seemed like a good idea, now looking back on it... it wasn't really necessary. He is a nice guy, he was fighting with his wife and I got nervous. It's not like she would be dead if I hadn't called.

Well, quit calling the cops for no reason!!! I'm glad I never lived by you....my and my ex used to have 'knock down drag outs'....but no one ever got hurt. I would've been PISSED if the cops showed up at my door for no real reason. I mean I hate to be rude, but mind your own business! I've been there.....our downstairs neighbors used to argue and break things all the time. Neither of them were hurt, ever. It usually wasn't all that loud, even. We never called the cops on them. We just bitched at them when they were loud at ridiculous hours of the morning, which they did now and then. Or when they played the Eagles super loud, which they did OFTEN.

just anxiety. I get really worried about stupid things, I have actually gone into a panic attack over a bump in the middle of the night and bad dreams. It isn't uncommon for me to wake up in the middle of the night shaking and crying and DF has to get up with me until I can calm down and go back to bed
Quoting futureshock:
Why do you get so nervous?
