Okay, so my MIL drives me bananas!!! She doesn't do anything outright awful. Just little things that add up and make me angry. She's manipulative and won't come right out and insult me but constantly makes "suggestions" on how to be "better." And she's like socially retarded. She laughs louder than everyone else (tht part i can't fault her too much for, I'm pretty loud myself.) She always does things to make herself the center of attention. Pisses me off... I know its probably not a big deal, but it just grates my nerves so bad. Like she always has to be the informative one. Always explaining thing to people that we either already know, or don't care to know. Like when she was telling my mom how to hold my son. Stupidest thing ever. My mom lives closer so sees my son a lot more. Just stupid stuff. I should just get over it right? but it's really hard to not be annoyed by someone who annoys you! Ugh! I want to like her. I really do but every word out of her mouth is nails on a chalk board!

My MIL is kind of like that too. She always tries to tell me how to be a better parent or give me advice and I hate it! Over the years I've grown to love and like her and now I just let whatever she says roll off my shoulder....

I hope to get to that point someday. She's seriously Marie from Everybody Loves Raymond. SERIOUSLY!
