My MIL bought dd a Tinkerbell doll that comes with a change of clothes and shoes...well...i threw away the shoes because dd kept putting them in her mouth(she is 2.5) and they are a choking hazzard....well....MIL is mad because i threw away something she spent her money on......ugh...when will it end with the MIL?

I dont blame you for tossing the shoes mil should pay attention to toys that say choking hazzard its not there to be "cute"
My DD is 4.. If i see the shoes off the doll they get thrown out. Usually i super glue barbies shoes to barbies toosies. She will get over it, they would have been lost in .10 seconds anyway.
Only a MIL... I have a bunch of barbie shoes and other barbie accessories in our junk drawer.. I don't throw them out because they will eventually be able to have all of the little pieces
My MIL would buy barbie or kelly for my daughter was very small, like 18 months. I just told her that I took the shoes or other tiny parts and put them up for when she would older. Then I would secretly want to jab my MIL's eyes out every time I had to change their clothes a million times in a day.
