My two year old is a food lover. Ever since he was born, he has always been a little piggie. We've seen nutritionists (I had WIC with him, *gasp!*) and they all say that he's on track with his weight gain and he eats healthy things, but I have to ask...
Do your kids ever hold onto the last bite of their food as long as they possibly can? I mean, I just made him a peanut butter and jelly sandwich as his lunch and he's eaten all of it...and the last bite is still in his mouth, all mushy and gross, he must like it...and he seems to have no intention of swallowing it.
My mom says it's like he's savoring the last bite of his food because he likes it so much. He'll hold onto it for a few minutes (2-3 minutes, actually), just letting it sit there on his tongue, and I try not to worry about it too much, but I think it's the weirdest thing I have ever seen a child do.
Hmmm that's odd. My child doesnt do that. bump
If you choose not to decide you still have made a choice.
My cousin's son used to do this with everything. Infact they had to make him show them his mouth before he went to bed after a while because he would keep food in his mouth and fall asleep. lol. He out grew it.

Our family is little and broken, but still good.
