I really feel like shit today don't feel good at all. When i woke up i felt okay, but than i drank part of a Root Beer and started feeling really weak, dizzy, and my hands have the shakes. I have felt like this off and on for years if i don't eat or don't eat often enough. So i made myself a couple sandwiches hoping that it would help, which it helped some but i still feel shaky, weak, and kinda dizzy. So i tried eating part of a candy bar, but i still feel the same way. Part that really sucks is that whenever this has happened before unless i get into the doctor's like immediately any blood lab work and testing they do comes back normal. And i have no health insurance right now so i can't even do that. Is there anyplace i can go that will help me? At this point driving is not a good idea not sure if i have the energy to walk and my SO isen't here he had to work this morning.
I do the SAME thing.. I will get the shakes and feel dizzy and try and eat something, and something sweet bc I figure its my sugar, have had tests done and nothing comes up that would explain it.. but what helps me, is eating about a teaspoon of salt, and taking a vitiman. IDK why salt knocks the shakes out and sugar wont for me.. but it works!
Gosh, I don't know it could be anything...
low blood sugar and you say IF you don't eat often...so?
Low potassium or some sort of electolyte imbalance.
Not enough water.
Thyroid problems.
Sleep apnea or not getting enough oxygen while sleeping, or from snoring.
Too much sugar.
etc. etc.
YEs, she could try a few pinches of sea salt, or sea salt in a glass of water. Minerals and electrolytes are calming and help balance, and sometimes works for people, true.

It may be your iron level. I'm anemic and that happens to me every once in a while. You could try eating something high in iron or take a vitamin with iron or an iron supplement. HTH
