you met a couple through your husband and have only known them for about 3 weeks.  and now the husband calls you "sis" and your kids are their "nieces".  is that weird to you?

  • 3 weeks is a bit early for that.  Our neighbors are the only ones who do that with our DD.. refer to themselves as her aunt and uncle... but we've known them for about 3 years.

  • I find that very odd.   The only "aunts" my daughter has are very close friends whom I have known for several years or more.  Her favorite is her auntie Fur Fur.  We've been friends for 16 yrs....holy crap.
