I have a demon in my bathroom. Not even joking. *EDIT #2 IN BLUE! (11/11) - PLEASE READ*

Yes, you heard right. I have an evil entity that hangs out in my bathroom. It was confirmed last night when my cousin came over. I have always been really sensitive to this stuff, and lately when I take showers, I always have the feeling of someone watching me. My cousin came over last night to buy my old guitar, and while he was here, he went back in the hallway where the bathroom/bedrooms are and walked around a bit, and he said he could sense a really bad spirit, or demon, is in my bathroom. He said it may be because something happened in the bathroom (abuse of some kind) with a previous tenant of this apartment I'm in. I was telling him of some experiences I've had, and one of them is that a couple of times, I've been wide awake, and all of the sudden, I become completely paralylzed - I can't move or speak, and all I can do is moan and try to get myself out of it. Some might call this sleep paralysis, but on numerous occasions, I have actually seen a black figure standing next to my bed looking down at me. Last night, this happened again. I woke up suddenly at about 4 am this morning with the most horrible feeling that I couldn't shake, and I was awake for 2.5 hours. During the time I was wide awake and couldn't sleep, the paralysis happened again. I know I wasn't asleep because I was completely aware of my surroundings, and as soon as it happened, I started to moan and whimper to get my husband's attention. It took me a few seconds to be able to come out of it after he tried to help me. This was so frightening that I wouldn't let go of DH until I fell back asleep.

This morning when I got up with DS, I was changing his diaper, and I distinctly heard an evil, demonic laugh coming from the hallway by the bathroom. I checked to see if it was outside, and no one was in sight. It sounded as if someone was just standing out in the hallway - it didn't sound like a referred noise coming from another apartment. This sounded like 2 separate voices, but the same laugh.

I don't know why, but I seem to have some sort of evil entity in my apartment. I wonder if talking about it more with my cousin last night made it stronger, and now it is just trying to scare me. Well, it worked. It's scaring the crap out of me.

EDIT: To avoid anyone getting offended again, please know that I am reading every single response on here, but just can't respond to every single post, so know that I am reading and taking everything in! I appreciate all the input and advice I am getting, so keep it coming! Thanks everyone!

EDIT #2: Last night was the scariest night of my life. I have never felt such evil surrounding me and I have never been so scared. I literally got a half hour of sleep because I was so terrified. My husband commanded the spirit to leave in the name of Jesus Christ, and after doing this many times, it left after about an hour. It tried to possess both my husband and I, as well as my brother when he came over to help us bless the home. I don't want to go into too much detail for fear of entertaining it, but I would just ask everyone to please keep us in your prayers. I want to feel safe in my home again, and we are seriously considering pleading with the owner of the apartment to let us end our lease. Maybe when the event isn't so fresh and frightening in my mind, I'll share more details. Thanks for all the advice/input. I really appreciate the concern. I wish I had just taken these measures sooner. I don't know what's going to happen next with this thing.

EDIT #3: Ever since my horrible experience happened Saturday Night, our house has been extremely peaceful, and nothing else has happened. I really feel that my husband blessing the home helped tremendously. Sometimes I feel the presence lingering, as if it is still here, but no longer has power, if that makes any sense. I am just doing everything in my power to keep it that way, and to make my home a place that it does NOT want to be. As for now, the SOB is powerless, and I am happy and content. I plan to keep it that way!
