my MIL swears my fiance was potty trained by one year old, even though he didnt walk til he was 15 months old.... it wasn't EC either, she said she didnt watch for 'signs', that she just took him to the potty every once in a while and he would go when she put him on it....
do you think she is just remembering incorrectly? or have any of you done this? my son is 12 months and just beginning to walk, i want to get him a potty soon
my MIL says the same thing!!! and she swears she did it in two days, i always tell her to take my son for two days and i want him back potty trained. lol
I think our parents all must be of an age where their memories are going bad. My mom and dad both swear that I was reading chapter books at age 2. I don't understand how that's possible, my son is smart but he's 4 and just getting to that point. Maybe they are just so proud of us they tend to exaggerate?

A girl at the last office I worked at had her DD potty trained shortly after her first birthday. BUT who knows if it held...she could have regressed. Her DD is a couple months younger than my DD so we used to compare notes.
