birth control issues

Ok so in January I decided to go back on the pill well the pills kept making me sick and made my whole body hurt. Between January and August they tried me on 8 different kinds of pills because it was so bad. In March I started bleeding and they couldn't get it stopped until the end of May and it took some serious hormones to do so. Well in August I decided to try Depo again and I tell you what I can't do it. I've gained back the 30 lbs I lost after I had my son, my mood swings are insane and the hot flashes are killing me. I need to be on birth control for the simple reason that we are not ready to have another baby and it makes my endometriosis a bit more bearable. I don't know what to do though, I'm due for a shot on the 13th and I can't do it, I feel like I'm going crazy. Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

I feel ya momma birth control always messes with me I would ask if you have tried loestrin but at the moment I'm irregular from it for three months it was great and now I'm on my fourth pack barely halfway through and I'm bleeding so I don't know how great its gonna be but its the first that has not made me sick or hurt and its the lowest form of birth control they can give and it has made my endo much more tolerable. Might wanna try it but then again ya might not lol

How about the IUD that has no hormones?  The Paragard?  Sounds like you need to stay away from hormones all together....

Can you do an IUD?  I just got Mirena after my  son was born in august. The only side effect I have had so far is the light bleeding pretty much every day. My doctor said that is normal for the first 6 months, hurray for me lol.

I personally will NEVER do any type of hormonal birth control EVER again.  That stuff is poison!  We are pregnant with our second and then he is getting a vasectomy.  If I were you, I would just do condoms for a while.  We did pull out for several years before deciding to have our first and it worked but of course I would never actually recommend that because I know it doesn't work for everyone.

Loestrin was one of the ones they put me on and it made me so sick.

I had no idea there was even IUDs with no hormones! I think I'm going to do some reading on those tonight. Thanks guys!
