Alright, here is my view of the Health Care Reform. Correct me if I am wrong.

I have NOT done a lot of research on the Health Care Reform. Truthfully, it sounds alright to me. Here is my view (based on what I know)...correct me if wrong...

Obama wants everyone to have healthcare. If this bill completely passes everyone will have insurance by 2013. The quality of health insurance may be a little less than some are used to, but everyone will have insurance. Correct? I think this seems good to me. I know there should be some tax increase, which has everyone pissy. My Q is this- If everyone is going to be getting insurance, people that really need it..., why are any of you pissed? Honestly, are you that selfish that you don't want a tax increase to help other people who need it?!

Seriously, I do wonder a lot.. what has this world come to? Violence everywhere, poor innocent babies dying more than ever, so much sh*t that I never thought I would see or hear in my lifetime. And I am only 20! Truthfully, I fear for my kids future.

Now please.. someone tell me some answers to all of this.

I love my girls, Madison and Isabelle and my husband Sam more than anything in this world! :)

I agree with you.  Some people say they don't want to pay for another person's mistakes but if they have insurance don't they already?  I mean there are some that have insurance but don't use it for anything but their yearly, and then there are those who (if the insurance company doesn't deem that saving a life is experimental) really need it and have medical problems that need constant care.  I have no problem paying higher taxes as long as people are getting the help that they need.

Everyone will have access to health insurance. You can make a choice between employer provided, private, or public option (government). If you choose public option you will still pay for it as you would private but at a cheaper rate. They are doing this in hopes that private insurance companies will lower their rates as well since they will have competition. Low-income families will also have access at a lower cost if any at all. Yes, taxes will raise slightly. I don't mind one bit.

A few other facts. Nurses and doctors will not be employed by the government. The government is only providing insurance. If you already have private or employer provided insurance you can keep it.

That's the jist of it anyways, I think. Feel free to correct me.

Oh and I believe they are trying to do with denial of coverage due to pre-existing conditions.

Honestly I have little opinion about this.  I've had insurance since birth so I don't really care.  At least the taxes we pay will actually be doing something now.
