I can't sleep!
DH is leaving in a little over a week to see his sons for a month in Palestine.
He has been really homesick for a while. Misses his boys.
I am scared he isn't going to want to come back! I don't know why I am thinking this. He was homesick last year before he went and the second day there he was miserable, he wanted to come home!
Grrr..... I hate anxiety!

It will be okay hun.  He'll come back, you and your daughter are his family as well.  My DF misses his kids like crazy, but, he won't leave us to move to Japan again.  It sucks that they have to be so torn, huh?  Just trust that he'll come home again and you will be okay!

Not to make your anxiety worse. But how safe is it for him to travel to Palestine. He should see his sons.Does he really have to stay a month, why not just 2weeks or so? Well, try not to worry. But I could understand why you are.

My husband left last week for India and I have those very same thoughts.  Our son went there in Feb. with me and so it was hubby's turn to go there and see everyone.  He is also very homesick but he does miss us here too!  Just try to ease your mind or do something to TRY to take your mind off of it.  I know that is not easy since we are in the same type of situation but I hope you can try.

So sorry you are feeling this way momma.  I hope that he can find a way to reassure you that he'll come back.  Does he know about your fear?

I could, but I have never been on a plane before and I am terrified of them. I have been since I had my first ever anxiety attack at age 6 when my grandparents wanted to fly me to Disney!
And his town is really bad, now way I can stay for a month there. No indoor toilet, no electric after 9 p.m., not many people speak English and my Arabic is terrible. I am spoiled and so used to what we take for granted here! Even he has a hard time going back there after living here 8 years.

It isn't very safe! Last time he was shot at multiple times (not him directly, but the car) and he is fearless, which makes me worry more! His town is somewhat safe, but I know he isn't going to just stay in the town, he is going to visit his family in the city also and getting there through the check points is dangerous!
He is staying a month because last time, he planned on 2 weeks and ended up being stuck there because the day he was supposed to go to Jordan to get on his plane id the day Israel attacked Gaza and roads were shut down. He ended up being stuck there a month, she is is just planning on a month this time!
