Does your house stink?

IDK what to do. I can't use the plug-ins because our son pulls them out of the wall. I tired feebreeze (SP?) but it doesn't work well. I am thinking of getting candles but there aren't many places where I can put them without hte baby getting into it.

Our apt. doesn't stink but it doesn't smell great either. I like it to smell good so that when you walk in, it has like an overwhelming good smell. I used to use the airwick plugins and when you came in there was a nice smell. Now, it doesn't really smell of anything. I was thinking of trying some scented oils or the sticks but IDK, any advice?

Why does it stink? If you find out the reason maybe you can eliminate the stinkiness.

Open up the windows and let it air out (If the weather permits)... If you have carpet it could be that... If carpet gets wet/shampooed too many times the wetness will get into the padding and make it stink.... Try baking soda on your floors

Do you have any higher outlets like in the bathroom or kitchen? Otherwise, reed diffusers work alright, esp for smaller areas. You just flip the reeds when you need to refresh the scent.

I use scentsy candles. Very safe for kids. I love them and my entire house smells so good. http://www.scentsy.net/ is the website.

It doesn't really stink but it doesn't smell good either, YKWIM? I can't really explain it but we are cleaning the carpets this weekend because they are ruined from juice and food stains because I tend to let the baby walk around with his crackers a cup. I know big mistake but it is hard because all of our apt is carpeted except for the kitchen.

You could get flame-less candles. Glade has one that lets out a little puff of scent. You could also try a Lysol Freshmatic. While you're home you can bake cinnamon sticks on a cookie sheet on low.

Sometimes my house smells like a big poopy diaper.  I totally get it.  But your best bet is to light some good candles.  I always make my own soy candles because there cheaper and they smell better then yankee candle.  Or go to the dollar store and buy some of those they work good too.  Just but them up high or like on your kitchen table and some where in the living room.
