Someone ask their husbands ( I need some male input)

I posted the other day about  me and my husbands Split up and about wearing my rings still on a different finger.

well Tursn out they only fit my ring finger! lol. but i'm now wearing them on a chain.  So here's where the male input comes in. What would u think if you started dating someone, You ask what the rings are . and they tell you Oh they are my wedding ring and engagment rings from my last marriage? How would u React? what would u do or say? Would u keep seeing this person or think they were totally freaking nuts.

My husband isn't here but why would you want to wear the rings in any fashion if you're over your marriage and ready to date again??

My DH says that it wouldn't bother him. If it was some how the other way around I would care shoot I'd probably steal them and throw them out. What about having them made into something else like a necklace or earrings?

Well, my dh said he would still date. He said its like keeping a part of the marraige since everyone does hold on to alil of it in some way. Hope that helps ya.

Im just wondering why woud you want to wear them?

I could understand saving them in your closet or something but it seems kinda odd wearing them on a chain.

My hubby said that would be a big flag for get the F*ck out! If your still wearing your rings your obviously not over hubby ( whether they are on your finger or chain), so you are not ready to be dating in that case. And I have to agree with my Hubby on this one.

When we split.. we split on good terms. we knew it was coming . we couldnt get along. Yet now that we are apart we can talk and be civil. We love each other but we can't be together. We went and talked about it and we just can't make it work. So its not like we want to kill each other we are civil and we can finally talk . but our relationship is to destoryed to work on it. We had good times we had bad times.  I'm not ready to date again. It was just a question as to what one would think.
