Just curious about certain aspects of Muslim? Isra?
So I have watched the movie Not without my daughter. (sally field)
And I was wondering if it is accurate. A few examples, She married a Muslim man, had a daughter. They went on vacation to Iran and she was informed that her daughter is considered and Iranian (is that right?) citizin even though she was born in the US.
Is that true?
Another thing is the husband can beat his wife if he feels the need (home or public) and its perfectly acceptable.
Is that true?
I did have a few more questions but I can't hink of what they were. This is in no way bashing just curiosity.

Yay! I see my name in a post title, lol.
Kids born to parents (one or both) that are from another country have dual citizenship to their country of birth and their parents home country. DD is an American and Palestinian citizen.
As far as beating goes, no! There is a verse in the Quran that gets twisted, but prophet Muhammed said the best Muslim man is the one who is best to his wife.
