to take to Disney? I know there are Disney groups, but it doesn't seem like too many people read or respond there. I figure a lot of other people who aren't part of those groups have probably been to Disney before!

We are going to Walt Disney World for Thanksgiving this year. It's our family of 4's first time! We did get the meal plan, but due to our choices, we have 2 days totally on our own for food.

What's a reasonable amount of money to take for 6 days? (I feel like we are just your average, middle class income family.) The kids have spending money of their own, thanks to family buying them lots of gifts cards for their birthdays.

Sorry, but I don't think there's a really great answer for this.  It depends on what you want to do.  Are you buying souviners?  What kinds of places are you planning on eating at?  Do you want nicer food with sit down restaurants, or are you cool with burgers and fries?  I'd plan on $10 a person per cheap meal (doesn't sound cheap, but its about the going rate) and $20 p/person for a sit down meal.  Drinks and snacks are pretty expensive, and don't forget the manditory Dole Whip!  Worth every penny.  If you eat outside the park, it would be less, but you'd probably have to go a ways.  Anything associated with the parks is going to be pretty pricey.  Have a great trip though!
