When I got pregnant, I had a name picked out already, but didn't tell SO. I wanted to name him Gage Ki & call him Ki. He comes up with this name, Joseph Blaine, going by Blaine, (DS is the 4th Joseph in a row of the family) out of no where though & told his whole family & they all loved it. We ended up naming our DS that because it's not a bad name. SD comes over this weekend and says "You stole my mommy's name." I said "What?" & she said "My name was going to name me Blaine if I was a boy." I asked SO about it & he said "Don't worry about it, he's Blaine now." WTF?! You made me name our child the name your ex-wife had picked out? Jesus. It just makes me sick to my stomach for some reason. I never in a million years would've picked to name my son Joseph Blaine, or anything close. Ugh. I want change what we call him, but he's almost a year old. I want to call him Ki. It has nothing to do with his name though. =\ I just feel like poo.

It's pretty shitty, I think. If I would've known this in the beginning I would've said hell f'ing no. & I wish I would've just stayed with the name I wanted.

hell if i were u since he is still young i would change his name if u have the money to do so. and if he got mad, tell him that it was shit for what he did!
I don't want to legally change it, I don't suppose. Everyone in the family loves his name. I just would like him to go by Ki, which I love & have forever. I don't even know how to go about it.

lol good on picking the names for the next kiddo. lol. it wouldn't have dawned on me either to ask a question like that. lol, thats just goofy. dh would definitely be in the dog house.
