We did my grandaughters nursery in winnie the pooh. We painted the walls a lime green (very prety) and put a border up and then we put the pooh stickees (large) on the walls of the characters. You could do cars, sesame street, or something like that for the boys. You could do a yellow for the walls and do sesame street stickees or border.  When my kids were little I painted the walls a light blue and did the ceiling a dark blue and put glow in the dark stars everywhere and they loved it. Good Luck!

I would paint 2 walls a light blue and 2 walls a yellow. It sounds weird, but they actually do look good together. This was my son's room before we moved.

The stickies in my son's room peeled right off. They are just like the window clings you see people put up at xmas except for the wall.

Paint 2 walls with a corner for Braxton and the other 2 for Clayton. Put what Clayton likes on his 2 walls and the other 2 walls in baby stuff theme for baby Braxton. I seen someone on her do that for her children and it was sooo cute. And a nice idea

My sons are a little less than 2 yrs apart and we went with a jungle theme in their bedroom.  It was really easy to find a lot of jungle/animal theme baby stuff, but also we did a lot of things to keep it bright and appropriate for an older kid too.  We basically just found a bunch of those wall stickers at a dollar store and stuck them all over the top edge of the room (so the boys wouldnt pull them off later!) Then I made some easy bright green curtains and sewed leaf shapes in different shades of green all over them.  Lastly, we made little wall hangings of their names in bright colors - yellow and blue and green.  I loved how it turned out - and the fact that it was easy to do and not too expensive!  We rented at the time, so I can relate to the white walls situation!   You could probably do something similar with cars or trains or whatever too!  Good luck! :-)

Very easy to remove. They are a little different from the window ones but you can ca find them in any paint or wallpaper department. You can check out walleez online to get an idea.

My SIL painted a room for her son Blue and the ceiling blue and painted clouds up there.  On the walls instead of getting charachter stickees they spelled words out with stickees.  It is very cute and I think the stickees have teddy bears on them.  They put the words on all 4 walls and spelled out the names of all their sons cousins on the wall.  Very cute.
