Ok I have a c section in about 10 hours and I am really freaking right now. Here is what is going thru my neurotic mind.........
I dropped DD off at my dads a few hours ago and I hate that I won't see her till I get out of the hospital. They restricted visitors under 18 because of the flu.
I really hate having a catheter and I don't want it. Ic have to have it I know but every time I have had one it hurts so bad that I cry because of the pain.
I have back problems and we are not sure if I will have spinal anesthesia or if I will have to be knocked out for the surgery.
I don't know how I am going to manage everything with 2 kids. One kid is easy, two is not going to be so easy and I don't want DD to feel left out or neglected when her brother comes home.
I think that's everything I'm crazy about right now, someone please tell me it is all going to be ok. I can't wait to meet my son but on the other hand I'm so nervous that I want to throw up. Please send some positive energy my way.
Honey it will be ok. I have never had a c-section but I did have neck surgery and had all the same fears you did about surgery. I was afraid they were going to screw something up and I would be paralyzed.
As far as taking care of two kids, you CAN do it. Just calm down. Breathe deeply and do something that will relax you.

Awww hun it will be ok, I have had 3 c/s, I freaked out each time (so you are not alone) but it will all work out!

stop thinking about it! once your child gets here you will forget about all this.
Calm down and just imagine holding him for the first time and how cool it will be to see your kids bond as siblings! good luck
oh mamma....everything will be ok. just make sure to let your dd help as much as she is able. and also, you may want to get her a big girl gift when you come home...jmo....when we bought dd home, ds was just a bit left out cause people would just bring stuff for the baby...so we bought him a hotwheel car just so he knew we didn't forget him...lol. good luck mama....it will be ok
some people are like slinky's ---- not really good for anything....but make you smile when you push them down a flight of stairs.
it will be okay mama! Just wait once that little man is in your arms you will forget what u were worried about in the 1st place!!!
I PROMISE it will all work out. I know it seems like the weight of the world is on you right now!! (((Hugs!)))

your freakin!
That's to be expected. Take a deeeeeep breath girl! It's going to be hard not to see DD until after you get out, but it will be alright, she will be in good hands and will be so busy doing things with grandpa time will go by fast for her as well as you with a new baby on your hands. Catheter sucks, oh well it will be the least of your worries as they prep you, you know this! lol your mind will be racing and excited, it'll be out the next day! I have severe scoliosis, with a metal rod in my back, and they didn't think they could do an epidural or spinal on me, but they did both times, I am sure they can do it for you too! I know how you feel with bringing home a 2nd baby when 1 is so easy... My son was 16 months old when I brough home his little brother, it was tought but you'll all adjust.
IT'S GONNA BE ALRIGHT!
congrats! :)
