Does anyone own a Chrysler Pacifica? Or Nissan Altima?
I just found an amazing deal on a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica. One owner, great car fax report, and below market value and in our price range. I read that the safety features are top notch too. I don't know anyone who has one though and would like to hear from people with personal experience with owning one. Have you had any issues? Did you like the car? Any info would be great! Thank you!
Oh, I'm looking at a Nissan Altima as well if any one has any comments on those. Both cars are a 2005.

If you want it for a "kids" car....it's not as easy as a van...the crossovers are great...but less room in the back...Chrysler makes a great product by the way!
I have a 2004 Pacifica. It was the first year they came out, so we have had a lot of issues with different things. I really don't like the car at all because of all the issues we have had and because you can not see ANYTHING when you are backing up.
My friend has a 2005 and has not had the same mechanical issues that we have had and loves it, but she also does not like the fact that you can't see when you are backing up.
i have a 1993 Nissan Altima lol... it still runs great and hasn't broken down in the last 3 1/2 years as many times as my 2003 Chrysler (town & country -not the pacifica) has... so i'm not sure about the NEW Altima's but my OLD one is great :)

Thinking about having one more baby but not sure? Then join us @ ONE more or NO more!
I rented an 05 for two weeks when we went to IL. I loved it and want one someday... but it doesn't have a lot of storage room for trips (like ours) otherwise I didn't have any complaints. I found it easy to drive and I don't recall having any blind spots when backing up... but its been like 3 years and I only drove it for two weeks.

Hmmm...the backing up may be an issue. I have a hard time in any car. lol We are going to test drive both tomorrow so I guess I'll see. If I have a hard time seeing I won't get it. I don't want to risk hitting anyone or anything.

Yes, pay close attention to that when you are test driving. You don't want to get it and hate it later. Although, a lot of people I know have had the back up cameras installed before leaving the dealership because of it.

It's going to be a family car but our kids are still young. We don't lug around a lot of stuff yet.

Do you have any idea how much that costs?

Not real sure, but I know you can buy them cheaper at a car parts store and install them yourself. You may even be able to get them at Walmart.
