Actually there are 2 baby questions....

How much formula did your child take when they were 3-4 weeks old?

And can you remember (if you on) when WIC starts to cover infant cereal? I dont plan on giving it to my DD until its recommended, I just cant remember when that is.

It covered his formula as soon as he was born.

At 3-4 weeks old he was taking  3-4 oz every 4 hours.

I would offer 2oz every 2/3 hours baby may not drink it all.  WIC:If you formula feed only you should get it at your 1st appointment. I got it for my god child at 1st appointment at 2-3 wks old.

she was a pig she was on 6 oz every 4 hours. by 2.5 months it was 6 hours every 2 hours and it she wouldnt stop until she threw up. so i added cereal into her diet then and it worked like a charm. all babies are different. some are piggies and some not so much.

They used to start cereal at 4 months, but they just changed stuff. Now you get baby food too and I think it starts at 6 months now.

My DD was taking 2-3 oz every 2 hrs when she was 3 weeks old.  Cereal isn't offered till she's 6 months old (at least here in CA), but I give it to her now.  Now she'll get baby food as well, but I will be making all her food fresh.
