Just needed to vent

Aughhh why is it my family is so against me for dating someone who is in a wheelchair and uses canes to walk.....He has CP....Anways i got into a fight with my madre and grandma. They told me i can find someone "better" That how can a guy like this "take care of me" or help me out with my son..or even start a family with me..So i asked my mom well if dad were to become ill and needed a wheelchair would you dump him to...and the answer is always no because he was perfectly fine when they got together...Sometimes when i look at my family or the people that give me or my man nasty looking faces i want to just smile at them and say take a picture for it will last longer..

 My husband is a quadraplegic, so I get this at times as well. My family does love my husband (he has been hurt for about 11 years when we met), but were weary of us actually getting married. It does have its ups and downs, but if you set your mind to being able tohandle somethin, then you most likely can do it. I could go ON and ON and ON about this very topic, so will leave it at this. If you ever nee to talk, or vent to someone who knows what you are dealing with, feel free to IM me at anytime! We have been together for 11 years, married for 9 (as of last Wednesday), so we have been through a lot! I would love to have someone to chat with all of this about, bc no one REALLY understands unless they are in the same situation! You can't halp who you fall in love with, you just have to learn to work around certain obstacles! Good luck, and I really do hope to hear from you sometime in the near future! Just try to ignore what others say, and y'all live your lives to the fullest! Julie =)

Congrats for making 9 years. That is awesome that your family accepts him. I see that you have adorable twins to...And your right no one really understands...You can never choose the person to fall in love with it just happens.. And thats exactly how i feel about my bf..
