Has anyone ever taken Lovastatin? My husband has been on it for 3 months. One of the listed side effects is muscle damage. He woke up on Saturday with severe pain in his thighs. When he tries to walk he says it feels like his legs are weak and will give out. He will see his doctor this afternoon. I am just wondering if anyone else has ever heard of this happening? It sounds like "muscle weakness" to me but I don't know. Does it seems unusual for it to have taken 3 months for this side effect to have shown up.
