I have read far to many posts today that say under NO circumstance would I abort.   Even if the doctor said I would die and the baby would die I wouldn't do it.  The doctors make mistakes to often.       Really?   Here is a scenario.

You find out your pregnant you are thrilled you want this baby 100%.   The next day you start to have complications and the next two weeks becoming a living hell.  It all comes to a point where your doctor says I think that baby is in your tubes I want to go remove it.

You say wait you don't know for sure?   The doctor says no we can't be sure until we go in and check but I'm as sure as I could possibly be.

You say can the baby possibly survive?  He says no and if you let it go you will almost immediately bleed out when your tube ruptures.

You ask can the baby grow in the tubes at all?   No.

You say can you be wrong?   He says yes how bout this I will go in and take a picture and show it to your husband and he can make the call on to terminate or not.

You say will it be obvious to see?   He says yes.

You go under the husbands sees without a doubt it is in your tubes.

What now?? Do you say never mind I'll take my chance?   Do you risk leaving your existing children motherless?    Please share if you would really try to carry a baby with a 100% result of killing you both?

i don't believe in abortion by the means of using it as a birth control. i think it's ridiculous woman can have unprotected sex, not be on birth control or what have you, get pregnant and use abortion as the way out.

now, i also see the other side of it such as rape, incest, or health issues. those might constitute at least considering the abortion.

if i knew the baby wouldn't survive and neither would i, then i would abort. i already have one child i have to think about. but if there was a good possibility then i would just keep trying to manage.

I don't believe abortion should be a form of birth control, but under these circumstances it would be appropriate. ..in my opinion

I am Jaime a 21 (almost 22) full time mommy, wife and student. I am a CIO, tough love, coats in the car, non religous, open minded, pro choice, pro gay marriage, poker player kind of mom.

I mostly curious because of how many women say NEVER.   Can that really be true?

I absolutely would terminate. If it is a tubal pregnancy the pregnancy is not going to progress as it should, the tube will be ruined and possibly keep you from ever having more children and there is no way I am going to leave my husband without a wife to care for 6 kids and no way would I want my kids to grow up without a mother.

i've been in that situation... (ectopic pregnancy)

you don't have a choice, it's either abort or you die in 2-3 months
