Does that change the way you feel about me???

I mean if someone you knew REALLY well told you they were agnostic OR atheist would it change anything between the two of you?

This is really only for those of you of a Jesus believing religion.

eh, not particularly.

i couldn't be married to someone who has an atheist. i believe in God. i don't go to church or what have you, but i have a very personal relationship with God so i couldn't be married to someone who didn't even remotely feel the same way.

but i have friends that believe in different things and i'm cool with it.

No, I wouldn't and don't think any less of someone because they believe differently. I too have found myself in the middle of the road concerning my beliefs and non beliefs several times in my life. I won't disrespect anyone for a different way of thinking or believing.

I would be more intrigued than ever by their common sense, practicality and dazzling intellect.  ;-)

The only appropriate attitude for man to have about the big questions, is not the arrogant certitude that is the hallmark of religion, but doubt. Doubt is humble and that is what man needs to be, considering that human history is just a litany of getting shit dead wrong. - Bill Maher
