Who is your health insurance carrier?

I can't believe what some people have to pay for insurance.  We would never be able to afford it.

We have a health care spending account through Aetna.

We have Aetna through my DH.  It is a pretty good plan $150 deduct. & a 90/10 plan.  We still have $2500 in a FSA.  My meds alone eat all of that up by mid year.  Being diabetic is NOT CHEAP!

We have Blue Cross through my husband's company. We pay, on average, around $600 a month for the four of us. We have $20 copays for the GP and $30 copays for a specialist. Dental and vision are also covered. Our monthly cost is taken directly from my husband's check.

I am a Private School sending, Vaccinating, Non spanking, Nightmare Cuddling, Dessert Giving, Homework Helping, Bedtime Kissing, Book Reading, Academic pushing Mum. I believe in the benefit of organized after school activities. I believe in spoiling my children. I believe that I have seen the village and I do not want it raising my child - I will do that, Thank You. I believe that a woman's place is in the home taking care of her house, children and husband. I am submissive and proud, my husband is head of my home. I am a proud, traditional Roman Catholic, as is my husband... Yes we are teaching our daughter that The Church is the only Church.               Aimee

When we were paying between $800 a month to $1400 a month, we went between Aetna, United and another company that was United's parent or sister company.

Your prices aren't determined by just what insurance company you go through. For us, my husband was working for a small company (less than 20 employees) and the owners didn't give a shit about their employee's. I used to work for a company that really cared about their employees AND they had enough employees (more than 20) to get cheaper rates.
