Cutting Nails (POIG)

I used to be able to easily distract dd (11 months) and cut her nails.  Now it's not so easy.  She still is distracted by the things I show her, but she doesn't want me to hold onto her hands or feet to clip them.  Does anyone have suggestions for cutting their little one's nails?

My son did/does this same thing.  He is two now.  I just tell him to calm down and stop fighting with me, a little scold I guess.  Eventually he gives in.

I sang "One, Two, Buckle My Shoe" as I clipped nails. Each finger/toe was a number. It got his attention and he knew when it would be over. Now he just sits patiently until I'm finished.

turkey dinnerBe thankful for what you have.
