Oh why oh why did Uncle Sam station us here.....
I hate it here so badly .....stupid F*$%@* GA....did Uncle Sam not realize I need a city to be happy , one that has decent shopping malls and great churches....and commisarys bigger than a gas station.....oy vay . And on top of everything else he stuck us here in a unit that has all of 5 people in it....which means no FRG, no spouses even as the rest are all single, ugh.
I have gotten out and tried to make friends, I joined the PTA and put my son in soccer....still no luck. I mean I am a nice chick....but all the moms I have met are much older than me so maybe thats it....
I really liked being stationed in DC. It was seriously the happiest 3.5 yrs of my life. And now I do not know what to do and my hubby may be deploying in a few months....I just do not think I can do a yr or more with no friends and no support whatsoever....
I have even considered hiring people to be my friends...how sad is that ![]()
I miss living in Virginia (we lived in Northern VA) and now we are stationed in MT...there is NOTHING to do here! They just got a sonic and you honestly would think the world was coming to an end!

My best friend lives there and I could not believe how tiny it was! On the plus side, Tybee is nice and you're right by Savannah. I'll trade you houses

We are at Hunter......and oh mmmm gee I hate it here.
Quoting MommynMonster:
Hunter or Stewart? lol

For the same reason he stuck us in frozen Hellsworth, he's a mean old man. I want desperately to be back in GA or somewhere in the southeast away from cold and snow. For the past eight years we have been stationed in places that have hellish winters. First Alaska, then Missouri, and now South Dakota.
