with the way he acted. Oh it was so sad.  I took my 21 month old son's blanky to wash it. He ended up soaking through his diaper and got his blanky all wet and stinky so naturaly I took it to wash it. He quite litterally dropped to his knees and started crying. He stood at the gate the whole time I was setting up the washer ans just cried. I feel so bad. we used to have a back up blanky that was made the same way but did not have the same design and it no longer works. How do you wash your child security item? Do you just let them cry or do you have a system/trick that works?
