what happened to my baby

ok, we've been CIO for about a month and half. No problem. He does great, cries for maybe 5 minutes? Usually plays for a bit and then crashes.

Well, saturday we left him with my grandmother overnight. Since then, he's screamed bloody murder anytime we try to put him to sleep. Like he's DYING. last night i picked him up and held him for a bit because it scared me. But i just put him down for a nap and hes screaming again.

what the heck happened?!?!? And will it stop soon?

He also wont let me walk out of the room without him losing his mind. Did i make a mistake by leaving him with her? Keep in mind its the FIRST time he had ever been away from us for any period of time. And it was from 11am to about 12 pm so like 25 hours total

He probably thinks you're going to go away again.  For a little while I would keep going back in his room so that he sees that you are still there.  You may want to try letting him stay with others more often so that he gets more comfortable with it.

Personally I think the mistake is that you let him CIO.   Its not good for a baby.
