What do you think about this?

For years I have had to get help with Christmas. Well this year I have the opportunity to help others as well as get what we need. I am giving a family $200.00 & then I am getting 4 $50.00 Walmart gift cards & I am going to go to Walmart & walk around & find 4 people to hand them to. What do you think?

Every year since I was 5 all I can remember is getting help. We were poor & my dad was lazy. Didn't want to get a job. Just last year we had to get help too. So for 31yrs I have needed help. I am sooo tired of taking. I want to help. I have no clue if next year I will need help or be able to help. So I am doing what I can to help out others this year. I am not giving my name to anyone. I don't want anything back. I just want to give to someone else. If I give this to the wrong person, I won't know it. All I will know is that I helped out someone. Maybe they will Pay It Forward. I don't know

Thought of the day: If you were to die tomorrow, Would you be happy with what you are leaving behind? Did you do enough to know that your family would talk about you in a good way? Are your kids well behaved? Did your life mean anything to others?

My question of the day:  Why are there so many groups on Cafemom that get upset when you have a work at home banner in your signature? Aren't we all moms just trying to make a better place for our kids? We have moms of all walks of life. Mom's that don't Vax, moms that breastfeed, mom's that don't. moms that work outside the home, moms that work in the home. We can put anything in our signature, but not if we work at home. Why??

My blog is going to be about starting out as a teen mom in a screwed up world. What my life has been like since I became a mom. And what I have went through all of my life. Come & read & I hope that it helps someone else one day.

Not to be rude, but why do you feel the need to advertise that you are doing charity?

That is very generous of you. It's always nice to give back.

It's just a question. I am not going around my town & letting everyone know this, but on here no one knows me & can tell me what they think & not ask me to give them the card or give them the 200

I THINK it is a great thing to do

maybe find another place other than wally world to give them away, maybe check into a salvation army and see who has called asking or needing things for their children, and then go to the address of the ppl and give it to them.

Lay off. At least she's doing something nice for others less fortunate.

That is really nice.

One time I was at the grocery store with DF and our baby, a lady walked up and just gave us $20. She first asked how old we are (18&19) then said that she knows how hard it is to be young parents and we looked like we were doing a good job, when she was younger someone did this for her and she just felt like she needed to do it.

I hope you can help someone who is having trouble, and help their kids have a good christmas.
