My adorable 8 yr old noticed that his brother's cell phone had died and decided to try to help. Help burn the house down I should say!!
Apparently he went into his brother's room and grabbed what he thought was the "charger thingy" that his brother used. It wasn't anything but speaker cables...he plugged one end into the phone;the other into the wall.
Next thing my hubby hears is..."zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz" and the lights flickered for a second. Sees a child (at this point he is not sure which) run out front door and after a couple of seconds smells burnt rubber. After a couple of minutes it is discovered what Brian had been doing...he got a spanking,and everything electrical removed from his room for 3 weeks.
I should point out that I was at work and this type of thing has never happened when I'm home. I am just as pissed at hubby as I am at Bri........
