a gun, i mean.
we have one. we keep it loaded with 1 in the chamber. there have been like 5 break-ins on our block in the past few months though otherwise it wouldnt be hot all the time.
We have two fully loaded hand guns. Locked away in a safe with a spring loaded door. It's away from the kids and easy for me to access. We also have a rifle that is not loaded and tucked away. We don't keep the ammo in the house for it because we don't have a gun safe large enough.
not yet , but when we get a house next year ryne wants to get one.

5 break-ins???? wow! that's crazy! if i were you i would definitely have one loaded too, but up high in a safe place. do you have a big dog inside your house? if a robber hears or sees a big dog in your house they will definitely pass your house and break in to one where they aren't going to be attacked.
I don't have a gun. I don't like them, and don't ever want one in my house. I have other forms of protection, like my 140 pound dog. The way I look at it, if someone can get past him, they can have what they want, because the only way they will get past him is if they have a gun. In which case, it would become a case of who fires fastest, and I don't want to take that chance. We live in a pretty safe town, so I'm not worried about it.

May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.
ya but only because my husband forgot it when he left us. once it goes back to him we won't.

Our family is little and broken, but still good.
