Am I being territorial?

My MIL asked me for a pic of the boys together this am. She said she wants one to send out a photo card of the boys for Xmas. I am their mother I am ALREADY sending out photocards, they are MY children. Am I wrong to feel like that's not her place? Grandparents send pics, they send emails, letters, whatever else but they DO NOT send the photo holiday cards!
