Our neighbor's dog keeps eating though our fence. Now that it windy our whole fence blew over.  Why cant we get decent neighbor. We cant let our kids or dog out to play because it they let their dog out.  They own a corner lot so if the dog get out it might get hit by a car. We live in the desert so  the other reality is that it will get eaten  by coyotes and what nots of the desert. This guy has had several dogs and hes always loosing them. The other neighbors are getting annoyed by him too. Ive had to call our real estate agent, his real estate agent, and Ive been working on the HOA. WE have lived in this house <1 year and had to call the cops twice already.  Unfortunately his take care of his kids the same way. I know i should call animal control, but there are two realities there. one he might do something to our dog in retaliation. Two he has little kids and to take there dog away is mean. I know you cant see it, but there are chew make that the bottom of the fence. There is wire wrapped around the top of the fence. The chicken wire that is visible was put up to keep the dog out because there are holes there.

grrr.

While you may think it's mean to take the dog away from the children, the reality is that the children are also learning a lesson here.  If the dog gets taken away then they learn you can't treat animals poorly.  I would call Animal Control.

I'd ask him to pay for the damages his dog did to your fence.  If he refuses, tell him you'll see him in small claims court.

I'd take your neighbors over mine any day mine tried to run me over and just barley missed me and are drug dealers so I'd put up with the dog

If it was me, I'd be out there putting the fence back up whether it was mine or not.

wow the dog did all that by just chewing it?? well i would definitely call animal control because its your house and you need to feel comfortable living there you pay bills and all!! and if he tries to get revenge then call the cops on him!! im pretty sure he will be arrested

Sucks.

We have an ass itch neighbor but for entirely different reasons.  The man tries to put his garbage with the neighbors to avoid paying, lets his 2/3yo's run wild trashing peoples stuff, has a breathylizer on his truck and is just in general trashier than all hell.

Good luck with all that.  Mine's made me a master of passive aggression.  I've had to make my facebook public, and post that if someones kids wander onto my property and hurt themselves because they are unsupervised it would be a crying shame, because his landlord is my long time buddy, so the guy is stuck between the trashy tennant and me.

Fortunately he passed on the message and now this guy is keeping his kids out of my garden now.  Unfortunately he still thinks he's buddies with my hubbs and I'm just that bitch getting in the way - even though hubbs can't stand him but he's too tactful to say anything to an alcoholic out of jail because he paid big bucks for anger management classes and is supposed to be attending meetings.
