Does anyone know of home made remedy for pink eye? My little girl has it and she has been really complaining about it. Please help, thanks in advance.

Take her to a doctor asap I have a friend who delayed treatment of her two year old, he is now 3.5 has and to have two surgerys to put tubes in his eye ducts, and there is still a possiblity of a significant sight loss as he gets older.

My son has it right now. You need the eye drops. I had to get the expensive ones that make him not contagious the first day so he could go back to school...or I think it takes a few days. But, its an infection...you cant mess with it...call the Dr and get the drops. My Dr didn't have me come in...he just called in the prescription.

At WalMart for about 9.00 there's Hyland's Pink Eye Remedy..In my WalMart it's by the vitamins, where all the eye care stuff is..I use them on my kids..6 of them..And my girls are fine..Hope she gets some relief soon...Oh the Hyland's is homeopathic..

Does that WORK?! I just spent more than I would like to on a prescription...the Dr. said its an infection so we needed an antibiotic. My son gets it often...so it adds up!
ETA: I looked it up. It says : Do not use if you are experiencing a thick, white yellow or green discharge that forms a crust on the eye lid. My sons eye crusts up...so I guess it wouldn't work. DANG!
