Okay, so the lady who posted about being diagnosed with lupus got me thinking that maybe you ladies could help me with my dilemma.

Diagnose me! Please! I need ideas for my next doc appt. This is getting so old!

My symptoms:

Severe abdominal pain (upper central abdomen) occasionally w/ nausea & vomiting - this has been going on since April 07

Blood in stool (on occasion)

Gas & Bloating (few days at a time, here and there)

Hair Loss

Parasthesia (mostly in the back of my head)

So far I have been diagnosed with gallstones. Had my gallbladder removed. No change. Acid Reflux-put on three different meds for that. No change. IBS-put on meds for that. No change. Any clue ladies??

Thyroid maybe? I have no idea, I hope they find something and make you feel better.

Had bloodwork done, and that was normal. Thanks though!

I'll have to look up celiac disease... but definitely not hemmorhoids. Doc did an internal exam (which is NOT fun) just to be sure. Thanks for the suggestion.

I am being tested for celiac and colitis as we speak.  It is a horrible process.  I have some of the same issues but I also have a thyroid disease.  Maybe you should get your thyroid checked cause it can cause alot of crazy stuff.

My thyroid was checked and it's normal.... in fact, he did a whole panel of bloodwork and everything was normal. I just wish I knew what it was so I could do something about it. Sorry you're experiencing some of those things... it sucks!

Peptic Ulcer....would account for the stomach/nausea/bleeding issue. Stumped on the hair loss unless its hereditary, iron deficiency due to bleeding internally.

celiac's?  Try a gluten-free diet?

Peace,

Kat
