Why are people so mean

What does someone get from being mean to another person? I was taught as a child if you can't say something nice then don't say anything.Why as a grown women with children does it make it right to say really negative things?Shouldn't we be trying to help our fellow mothers up?

Thats why I didn't get involved in that post...My religion believes you get what you give three fold... and that goes for thoughts and words directed at another person...Sadly this leads to a boring life as I have to be quiet on here a lot..lol...But I hope that things get better for that lady...her hubby is awesome working like that and I hope the meanie finds her heart and opens it to others....Blessed Be

I try not to go on cafemom anymore because this is happening all over the place here.I posted a question about getting my daughter a zhuzhu hamster and some lady went off on me saying that I shouldn't waste my money on uneducational things.I don't know if it's because some ppl are so depressed that this is how they make themselves feel better.

Yeah I always think that they are unhappy (no matter how much they claim happiness) and unsatisfied. So they take it out on everyone else. Its pathetic, and sad.

 not saying this to be mean but some just do it because they have no lives and they need to be mean to belittle others and feel better about themselves.  i'll never understand why the women on Cafe Mom are the way they are, I've never seen so much drama in one place.  it's entertaining but annoying at the same time.

People are mean either its in their genes or just stupid.  My Mother told me that her grandmother from france was the meanest woman ever & I had a Aunt  that was my mothers sister the same way.  My Mothers mother was the sweetest person ever.so all i can tell you is to try to stay away from these wicked people. Its really hard because there so many out there.  I could tell you of wickedness even in the Church when I was a child.They will probably tell you that the Devil made them do it & please dont listen.  We just need to walk away from them & dont stoop to their level.
