Do you see RILEY as a girls or boys name?

I was in the grocery store the other day and this lady asked what my twins names were.  I said NOAH and RILEY.  She replied, "oooh, thats a GIRLS NAME!!!"  I was like wow, rude!!!

So what do you think? Girl or Boy?  Do you know a Riley? What gender is it?



BTW, my Riley is a boy :)

We are considering Rylie for our daughter should it be a girl.

I think it can go either way but both of the Rileys i know are girls.

I only know one Riley and it's a girl but I think it works for both.  How RUDE of that women.  I hope you gave her a piece of your mind. LOL

I have a friend who's daughter is named Rylie so I see it as a girls name personally.

I have only seen/heard of boys with the name riley. Our boy puppy is named riley!

How rude of that lady!  I think spelled that way a boys name....I have a cousin whose sons name is Riley.....my best friends has a daughter named Rylee.

 I know 2 RILEY's and they are both BOYS. I think it could be either a boy or a girl.
