So, I had a pregnancy scare last month, but was negative...I am not wanting another for a few years, but am not on birth control at the moment (silly I know) because of the side effects...we have been pretty careless (again, silliness) but I don't think that's what this is...it worried me.
So, about 1 week before my period, I looked down, and noticed my pants were really bloody...thought it was just my period, which is odd, because they are usually regular, and ALWAYS start out really light and get heavier, but never this heavy. Anyways, I bled pretty profusely...and have been having some sharp pelvic pains on and off for a month or so. But, the next day, there was NO blood...not even a trace....I have never had this happen...I am just worried because it did happen to my mother, when they found out her ovaries weren't working any longer....but it happened to her frequently. Has this happened to anyone before and if so, what was wrong? Any information would be appreciated...also on a totally seperate note, lol...I have had this weird pus draining from a sore in my ear for about a week...and today my tonsillar lymph node started hurting if I touched it or laid on that side...is this just from a cold or what? lol I know these are two totally seperate issues, but I didnt' feel like making 2 seperate posts...I have done research online but can't find much. THANKS
I'm sorry I have no idea... But I did see on Dr. Oz - I think - about a woman who bled like that off and on and wound up having cervical cancer... Not to scare you - it could have just been a miscarriage that many women go through without even knowing they're pregnant..
I'd go to the Dr. just to be sure though.
GL!!

GO TO THE DOCTOR. For both...those are both kind of scary. Good luck.

Thanks guys...I thought I should also add that I did just have a pap done about 2 months ago...it came back normal...so I don't think it is cervical cancer as some of you thought...cause that shows up on a pap doesn't it?
