Does anyone know how to do this? I have some home videos that I took, they are in AVI format, but I want to burn them to DVD and play them on my DVD player. I just don't have a clue how! Can anyone help??? Please bump if you don't know.

I have Xilisoft AVI to DVD formatter/burner. It takes your AVI movies and formats them, then burns them to disc. It worked well when I burned movies on a DVD+R for my mom and my youngest brother, but I'm having problems with it burning to DVD+RW that I bought. Although my other brother uses the same program, and told me he's burnt to +RW's. So I don't know what that's all about. You just need to find an AVI to DVD converter program.

Thank you. You I have been looking for one, but a little leary about downloading a program I know nothing about. I'll check out Xilisoft. Thank you!

I use the free version of Nero.

I admit, when I read the post title, my first thought was "OMG burning hated books has gone high tech!"
