Ok, Hubby has been working in Iraq for the past 2 years since his Visa ran out, and he is our breadwinner. We'vebeen saving up to get his Greencard. Well, we have enough money, and it'll be tight while he doesn't work, especially with me being pregnant, but we can make it work. So i saw our immigration lawyer to discuss our options, and our best one was bring hubby home, then file, and he'd be in the country and get his work permit within 60-90 days. Well, i told hubby choose, come home after the december paycheck, or the january paycheck. Well, he told me he was applying for another contract with better pay, more vacation(work 2 months, get one month off). he said he'd know if he ot it or not in December, and he has a pretty good chance of getting it since its not an american company. Spoke with him today, and asked what company did he apply to? He wouldn't say. So i pulled the wife card. I'm your wife, i HAVE to know. So he told me. I thought it was him being an ass, he's a mechanic, not to dangerous as long as a truck doesn't fall on him. Well, the company is security detail. THAT'S why he wouldn't tell me. Security detail in Iraq is dangerous, they go out on convoys all the time, and have to protect and get shot at.
I'm just upset. He wants nothing more to be home, and provide for our family, and he chooses to do this since he feels we won't make it until we have more money saved up. I want my husband home!!!!!!!
