I was wondering when a Soldier is deployed say to Afghanistan or Iraq, do they have access to Myspace, Facebook, MSN, Hotmail? If so, how often do they access it?

Yes usually they have internet they can access, but it depends on where they are and what they're doing.

I know my cousin has access. DH hasn't been deployed. Nathan is usually on when he has a chance.

They do for the most part but it depends on their job and what part of the country they are in.  My old unit is in Iraq right now and they check their Myspace almost everyday, however my stepbrother is in Afghanistan and he hardly gets the chance to call once a week.  It depends on the communications capabilities in the area they are deployed to, and whether or not they stay on the FOB (base) or stay on the road a lot.

sometimes.  it depends on their job, where they're at, etc.  on my husband's first deployment, he had access to the computer, but he'd have to wait for over an hour just for a few minutes online, so he rarely went.  on his last deployment, he only got computer access twice the entire time.

It depends on location. My dh deployed Dec 07 and didn't have internet until May of 08. Well free internet. He could have gotten it at one point for 75 a month but we couldn't afford that.

Most generally have some access, some have more some have less. Depends on alot of things. What their job is, where they are stationed, their chain of command. My husband was in the infantry and his platoon Sgt was always (more than necessary, even not allowing them to relax in their own rooms) telling everyone what to do and when ( it was his problem, not the platoons as he was relieved of duty mid tour) so, my husband rarely had free time for phone calls or time to use the Internet, we talked on the phone maybe once a week to every other week while emails, IM kind of thing happened about once a month.. While other men in the same job in another platoon within the same company where able to speak with their wives once a week to twice a week. I really just depends on so much and I learned real quick not to base things off of what others where doing, especially with regards to communication with my husband.
