MY poor little girl has puked 3 times since 10:30pm.  Is there anything I can give her that will help settle her stomach?  Besides pedialyte?

Shes 2.5 years & weighs 25 lbs.  Can she have like 1/2 a tums?  I read the back of the bottle & it doesnt list an age requirement.  anybody know? any home remedies, shes so miserable.............

THANKS!

Tums won't really help with the vomiting.  Has she been sick?  Does she have a fever? Gatorade, gingerale, a few saltine crackers...and a call to the DR in the morning!

Take her to the ER and they can give her some phenogren (dunno if i spelled that right) and it will make her stop throwing up and put her to sleep..

I'm not sure even if she could have one that a tums would even help if she's throwing up that much. I'd say just keep giving her plenty of fluids because the last thing you want is her to be dehydrated! Maybe a couple of crackers? My son likes his tummy and back rubbed when he's sick, and warm baths. Good luck!

Well no, she hasnt been sick at all actually.  Shes been crazy cranky all week.  Today shes had 1 poop of diarrhea & has pretty much refused to eat.  but she hasnt complained of a tummy ache or puked until 10:30 pm.  It was really weird.
No fever either.

Ok, thats what I was thinking.  since shes already puking so much its a little late.
Shes currently afraid of the bath tub drain so a bath is out.  No energy for the screaming in terror tongiht......lol
She is still drinking her fluids really well. Thank God.

Okay, Thanks for the replies ladies.   I will just keep pushing her fluids & see if she will snack on a couple crackers.  She finally fell asleep so Im off to try & sleep.

one thing you also need to remember is if/when she vomits, not to give her more than a sip of liquid until 30min -1 hr later otherwise all you do is give tummy more to reject and prolong the misery.  I was told by drs and nurses this bit of info  Also popsicles are a safer way since she cant gulp down ice as well as liquid.  I hope she feels better soon.
