Always, never miss one!

I'm new to it, but I've been in the jungle, and I'm going back!

Are you kidding? Those people are crazy!

What? Wake up HOW EARLY in the morning?!?!?!

Ok, I am relatively new to Black Friday still and after accidentally being "assaulted" at a Walmart last year (an unexpected load of LCD tv's were unloaded close behind me and I was knocked all over, lol) I decided to have a plan this year. I have been saving money weekly for a while now and checking out the internet to find Black Friday sale ads.

One of the most helpful by far is www.blackfriday.info . They have a list of the major chain stores and items that are on the current "Black List" as well as email updates for added stores and items. You can compose a wish list and print it out right at home. When you click on most items (not all) they have a link to the store's catalog that brings up an image as well as a description of the item. I have found this helpful when searching for various toys...

Another neat part of the site is the "coupon" section centered in the header. This link brings you to a site called www.keepcash.comwhich is a site totally devoted to money saving coupons on many different select items from shampoo to TV's. As you coupon savvy people already know, combined sales and coupons can lead to amazing discounts- sometimes even free merchandise (my mom always did this for household items and it really paid off!).

And last, but certainly not least, get the ads out of the papers for the next week! From my understanding, many stores will begin the deals ON THANKSGIVING this year to reduce the amount of personal injuries (and deaths) associated with the chaos of Black Friday. Yes, it is THAT dangerous in some cases! When possible, go over all the ads and make a "game plan" ahead of time. Remember: Safety in numbers (and speed as well). It is much easier to go with a small group and split up in a store to collect the items on a list than to try to find each item individually all by yourself, especially if you're hitting multiple store sales!

Best of luck to all on Black Friday 2009!

I am totally psyched and geared up for Black Friday. I picked out a few movies, have some totally delicious snacks planned and a wonderful Cherry log for the fire place. Can you tell I totally plan to spend the day at HOME???? LOL.

We dont do black Friday because our Christmas is totally simple. Each person gets:

SOmething you want

Something you need

Something to wear

and something to read.

That's it except for some stocking stuffers. So I am done with my shopping. NO deal is worth it to me.

I've been to Black Friday a couple times and always find that they're either out of what I want or what I want isn't on sale. lol

I prefer to shop cyber Monday. I do more online shopping anyway and there are more stores to choose from :)

Yeah, there's something about possibly getting trampled to death that just doesn't seem all that worth it.

I think it's great.  I love to go and fight my way through the people.  I never gotten hurt and never hurt anyone although my friend got punched last year over a camera lol.    I think it's fun and don't really care if I get home with anything he he.
