How long did it take your cycle to get regular after having your babies? If you are breastfeeding AND got your period back while breastfeeding please vote and share your stories. I've been BFing my son for almost 8 months so far, I got my period back right away but I'm still not regular yet.

after my daughter was born i bleed for 1 week postpartum and then i never got my period for 4 months!

I only breastfed/pumped for 4.5 weeks. I didn't get my first period until he was 3 1/2 months old. I never got regular, my son is 3 and I'm pregnant again!

It took me about 6 months but I got on Birth Control right away after both my children were born.  That helped get my cycle normal again

  I BF for 18 mo and got my period at 19 mo pp. I was regular as soon as I was done BF.

I BF for 10 1/2 months and was regular around 6 or 7 months. It was "regular" before that... I would get it ever 3 months, but around 7 months I started getting it every month.

Oh how I did not miss getting a period.

Like other post I bleed for about a week after birth and then right away every month.

With my first I got my period back when he was 3 months old, had two, skipped one, had another one, then I got pregnant.

With my second I got my period back when she was 3 months, had one, skipped a month, had another one, and haven't had one since then, that was March of this year.

I breastfed both.

I voted that it was never regular again.  After my post-partum bleeding stopped, I had the Mirena inserted, and didn't have my period for 2 years.  I had it removed in September of last year, and it has still yet to return to normal.  :-(

I only breastfed for 3 weeks, but got my period back at 2 months and it was regular and has been ever since (until I got pregnant again of course).  My friend EBF her son and got her period back at 3 months.
