Need help with my Chiuahua/Weiner Dog mix...

How much does it generally cost to get a small dogs claws clipped? I don't want to do it myself because he is a very jittery dog. His claws are very long. Just curious how much you have paid to get your dogs claws clipped. Thanks in Advance

Its usually anywhere from $5 -$8 for that size dog......call around! Good luck!

I never paid, but i always assumed it is around 10.00. I have a chihuahua its real easy to trim her nails becuase they arent thick or anything, but i'll bump cuz im curious to see how much it is also.

I have never known a place to charge a differant price for the size of the dog.  Generally, getting the nails is between 8 and 15 dollars depending on the place and area you are in .

Less than $10. Your vet can also do it probably cheaper than a groomer, if you're already there (not if you have to also pay for an office visit).

And it's wise of you not to do it yourself, especially if his nails are black. I hated doing it when I groomed. I've made dogs bleed before..not fun :(

Thanks. Yeah he has the long body, and chiuahua face. LOL. He's about 14 pounds. Our cat is bigger than him almost--Hes about 2 years old

It costs 8 dollars at the groomer for my GSD but I cut their nails myself.

If you lived close I'd cut your puppies too
