if she just started doing it then there might be something wrong and she may need medical attention. Is she fixed? How old is she?

Our family is little and broken, but still good.

Perhaps she is an anal retentive cat? Kind of like a mother in law who always criticizies your cleaning or raising of the grandchildren. ROFL It's just a thought.

But seriously, she may have a bladder infection or bladder stones. My SIL's cat has had a couple of bladder stones that had to be removed surgically. Cleo would pee in the corner on the carpet even though that litter box was clean. I hope she stops doing it soon.

That can be a sign she has a urinary tract infection

This may not be her fault she may have a bladder infection is producing to many struvite chrystals in her urine.  Take her to the vet and get her checked out.

I'd suggest making an appointment for her at the vet. I mean if you just recently put the other cat outside and they've been together for a while she could be doing it because she's mad but it could also be a sign of a UTI.

I agree with the other posters, I've had cats all my life and if this just started up then it can be a sign of a serious medical problem. On another note - is your kitty spayed/neutered? If not, that can lead to peeing outside the cat box as well.
