Are you racist? (With poll)

My [black] co-worker and I were talking last night and it really surprised me when she told me that there are some people out there that are very open about their racism and will call you a "n" to your face... she told me about a couple of customers there that have called her that and I couldn't believe it.  So this is just out of curiosity on how many people here on cafemom are possibly "racist", you can remain anonymous since I added a poll.  I myself am in no way racist and in my personal opinion I think anybody who is racist is immature, uneducated and just plain stupid.

I have 2 nieces and 2 nephews and another niece or nephew on the way and all of them are biracial as well :)  My dad (actually stepdad but he was more of a real dad to me) is actually black as well.

 i'm not...but one of my friends said some guy called him that when he was at a stop light..so he pulled over and the other guy did too...my friend got out and beat his ass...so yea, some people are very open

No i'm not and I deal with racist BS daily and racist people suck IMO!

I'm wondering the same thing... especially with the selection for the question "yes and I'm open about it", I wonder if those people open about it will say anything on a board here.

I don't think its right when ANY race think they are above anyone else. That goes for mine aswell. I, personally don't like those people. I don't know if you can call that racist or not. But I like people from all races and backgrounds... In the end, we are all 99.9% identical.
