What sounds yummy???
Hmmm, IDK what sounds good. I need ideas for my family too. Bump.
I made this really good meal the other night.
I bought:
1 Bag of No Yolk Noodles
2 Broiled Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
Steamed/Boiled Broccoli
Green/Red/Orange Peppers with Fresh mushrooms (softened in a pan with water)
While the peppers and mushrooms were cooking I added Garlic Powder to it.
And after everything was finished cooking I mixed it all together.
It's healthy AND it tastes amazing!
Baked spaghetti .. if your family likes pizza you can do a pizza baked spaghetti. All you do is boil your noodles according to the package. Brown your hamburger on the stove. Then you layer it in a 12x9 baking dish. If you're gonna do the pizza variation you can use pepperoni. You layer it in the baking pan. Noodles, sauce w/ meat, pepperoni (if doing pizza variation) and then cheese. Repeat. Then top with mozzarella cheese and pop it in the oven for 10 minutes just to melt the cheese and warm through. Serve with garlic bread and a salad or veggie! Very easy, quick and goes a long ways. Left overs are always good too :)

Prepare box of jumbo shells (probably around 24 shells is enough) according to package directions.
in a large bowl mix shredded white cheeses together. ( I use 1&1/2 package mozzarella and 2 pkgs of italian cheese) . Add 2 eggs, 1/4 cup olive oil, and season to taste with salt, pepper, basil, oregano, garlic, parsley and a little bit of nutmeg. Mix well.
in a casserole dish cover bottom with spaghetti sauce (I like Newmans Roasted Red Pepper) stuff shells with cheese mixture and lay on top of sauce. Pour more sauce over top of shells and top with remaining half package of mozzarella cheese (and if want romano or parmesan).
Cover with foil and bake at 400 for 20 mins. Remove foil and bake an additional 5-10 mins until cheese topping is melted.

Sloppy Joe's is what I made yesterday. Hamburger meat with barbecue sauce and ketchup for the sauce. I have 3 boys and they love it. I don't like the can version so I make my own.
It's starting to get chilly here...so,today it's black-eyed peas (made with sausage/beef) corn bread, yellow rice. Rice pudding for dessert (my oldest's loves it for some reason).
